過去の遺産
小学２年生の「地理・歴史（１０冊）」が読み終わった！
・・・いやー、想像以上に手こずった。
残りの「読み」、「書き」、「スペリング」、「文法」、「算数」、「美術」
の各教科書は気合を入れて今週末で読み終えるつもりだ。
・・・さて、今日は、
英語の勉強を強力にアシストする「頼れる仲間達」を紹介しようと思う。
和英辞書 英和辞書 英英辞書×４冊 発音辞書
熟語辞書 スラング辞書 類語辞書 の１０冊だ。
・・・これらの辞書が無いと、俺の勉強はちっとも進まない。
知らない単語を文中に見つけると、
俺は「意味」と「発音」、そして「用法」の３つを求めて延々と辞書を引き続ける。
３つのうちのどれか・・・、特に「発音」が分からないだけで、
頭の中がモヤモヤで一杯になり、次に進む事ができなくなるんだ。
・・・だけど、これらの辞書があればその心配は無い。
探せばそこに記されているんだ！
俺が特に気に入っているのが、
本屋さんで＄２０で買った、この巨大な辞書だ。
見よ、この威厳に満ちた堂々たる姿！
収録語数３１５０００語！ ・・・素晴らしい！
あまりにデカ過ぎて、他の辞書がまるで子供サイズに見える。
地名や人名の発音まで載っているので最高だ。
まだまだ先は長いが、絶対に諦めない！
よーし。また気合入れて勉強するぞ！
